What happened to the Network Node option for PVP?

The Network Node option that was available for ProVideoPlayer 1 has been discontinued. Due to improvements in Macs and display hardware, and especially with the new features in PVP 2, the Network Node has become obsolete. Instead of being limited to a maximum of three screens connected with one Matrox TripleHead2Go on each computer, you can now connect multiple TripleHead2Go devices to the same computer. With the new Mac Pros, the display capabilities will be greatly expanded.

In order to connect multiple DualHead2Go or TripleHead2Go devices to one computer, you will need a Mac that is equipped with multiple Thunderbolt ports.

If you already own a Network Node license, you can trade it in for credit towards PVP 2. The trade-in value of a PVP 1 Network Node is $299.50, bringing the cost of a new PVP 2 license down to $699.50. You cannot combine multiple PVP 1 licenses for credit towards one license. After trading in your PVP 1 license, it will be deactivated automatically after 14 days. The program will then run in demo mode.
