macOS 10.14 Mojave, iOS 12, and tvOS 12

We are excited about the recent Apple announcements for macOS, iOS, and tvOS. We are looking at what these announcements will mean for our software in both small and big ways.

At this point, we don’t know if or when our software will support these new operating systems. As with any software updates, we recommend waiting to update until we officially support our software on that version of the operating system. (For major operating system releases this can sometimes take several weeks after the operating system is officially released.)

We will update this article when we know more.

UPDATE (September 19, 2018)

ProRemote app

We have tested ProRemote app on the released version of iOS 12 and have found no issues. We recommend that you don't update any mission-critical devices that are relying on these apps to work for your production needs. We suggest holding off a couple weeks until the dust settles to ensure you don't run into any issues when you need it the most.

Stage 2 app

We have also tested the Stage 2 app on the released version of iOS 12 and tvOS 12 and have found no issues. We recommend that you don't update any mission-critical devices that are relying on these apps to work for your production needs. We suggest holding off a couple weeks until the dust settles to ensure you don't run into any issues when you need it the most.

ProPresenter 6 and PVP3

We are actively working on Pro6 and PVP3 to make them compatible with the upcoming macOS Mojave (10.14) version, which is scheduled to be released on September 24, 2018. These apps are largely not affected by the new macOS version aside from some minor issues. We will provide additional updates closer to the time of release, but our recommendation, as you probably guessed, will be to not update any mission-critical machines right away. Stay tuned for further updates!

UPDATE (September 21, 2018)

ProPresenter 6

A new update (6.3.6) will be released on Monday, September 24th to provide support for macOS Mojave (10.14).

PVP3

We are still actively working on this, but anticipate an update to be ready the week of September 24th.

Scoreboard

We are actively working on this as well, but do not have a timeline yet. Stayed tuned.

PVS

We are still evaluating and testing this software on Mojave. More information coming soon.
