With the release of ProPresenter 6.4, there’s an exciting new feature in both our SDI/NDI and Alpha Keyer Modules that will allow you to simultaneously send a video signal through both an SDI output and an NDI output.
Setup
Enabling both SDI and NDI in ProPresenter is simple, but requires the purchase of either the SDI/NDI Module or Alpha Keyer Module. Open ProPresenter 6's Preferences, then select the HD-SDI tab. Select your Blackmagic Device from the Device list and select your resolution in the Mode drop down. The Mode will need to match your Display resolution and the resolution the Blackmagic device is expecting to receive. Finally, check the box next to “Enable Secondary NDI”.
Now you will be able to send your ProPresenter output simultaneously through your SDI and NDI outputs.
Limitations
When using both your SDI and NDI outputs, audio will not send over the NDI connection.
When "Secondary NDI" is enabled, the mode for NDI will automatically use the same frame rate mode that you set for your Blackmagic device but always in Progressive. So, if you have 1080i59.94 set as the "mode" for your Blackmagic device, NDI will automatically send 1080p59.94.
