How do Transitions work in PVP 3?

PVP has a robust Transition feature that allows for media to be transitioned to and from the screen in many creative ways.

There are many ways to assign Transitions; here is the hierarchy of how PVP will decide which Transition to use for a given piece of media:

  • Master Transition (set in the Master Layer) is the “default” transition for all media
  • Layer Transitions (set inside of individual Layers) will override the Master Transition
  • Media Transitions (set inside of the Inspector for individual pieces of media) will override the Master Transition as well as any Layer Transitions that might be active

To set a Layer or Media Transition back to using the Master Transition, click the Use Master Transition button at the top of the respective Transition window.
