Scorebird is a new integration available within ProScoreboard. This connection enables real-time score data to be received directly from a Scorebird NEST (Network Scoring Transmitter) into ProScoreboard. This allows live game data to be displayed, transmitted to a live web feed, and synchronized with ProScoreboard during active events.
A Scorebird Subscription is required to use this device with ProScoreboard.
Connecting a Scorebird NEST Device
1. Network Setup
- Connect the Scorebird NEST device to the same local network as the system running ProScoreboard.
 • While not mandatory, it is recommended to assign both devices a static or reserved IP address.
 • For optimal performance, use a wired Ethernet connection rather than Wi-Fi.
2. Configure the Network Type
- In ProScoreboard, set the type of network connection using the “Via” field.
 • Choose Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or the appropriate connection type based on how your computer is connected to the network.
 • A direct Ethernet connection is strongly recommended for stability and speed.
3. Configuration in ProScoreboard
- Launch ProScoreboard and select the desired Game Type.
- From the menu bar, navigate to ProScoreboard > Settings.
- In the Settings window, open the Communications tab.
- Click Add Device, then choose Scorebird from the list of available devices.
4. Connection Details
- Enter the IP address of the Scorebird NEST device.
- The Port field should remain set to the default value of 1403.
- Click Connect to establish communication between the two systems.
