While ProPresenter 7 and PVP3 can utilize multiple graphics cards for outputs, all rendering is done on a single GPU and frames are copied to the secondary graphics card for output. As such, it is not the most efficient means of achieving multiple display outputs. Further, it is impossible for us to test the various combinations of two graphics cards inside the same PC. We highly recommend that you use VIDEO cards, such as the Blackmagic Decklink Quad 2 or two Decklink Duo 2's, to get direct SDI output of SMPTE feeds rather than additional GRAPHICS cards. One big reason is that the operating system always has control over all graphics outputs… meaning Windows or the macOS will always see these displays as operating system displays and as such the operating system has complete control over all aspects of what is being output (refresh rate, HDCP checks, etc.).
Note that laptops that contain both integrated graphics as well as discrete graphics allow for different performance modes to choose which GPU is being used. We recommend the discrete GPU for all Renewed Vision products. Macs utilizing eGPUs should have all displays connected to the eGPU (as laptops and iMacs have built-in displays that cannot be connected directly to the eGPU, we do not recommend using eGPUs with these devices.)
