With a Pro Content Premium Subscription, you have access to a vast collection of resources, including motion graphics, sermon series, announcement slides, and social media graphics. While motion graphics are ready to use as-is, many of the static graphics can be edited to match your branding and messaging. In this guide, we'll focus on editing sermon series, announcement slides, and social media graphics using Adobe Photoshop.
Downloading Editable Files
When browsing the Pro Content website, you can search for different sermon series, social media graphics, or announcement slides. Once you find a graphic you want to use, you'll see they types of files included in the download
-
JPEG Files – Ready-to-use images with no editing capabilities.
-
PSD Files (Photoshop Documents) – Fully editable files that can be modified in Adobe Photoshop.
To edit these graphics, download the PSD file and open it in Adobe Photoshop.
Note: Adobe Photoshop is not included in your Pro Content subscription. You must have a separate Adobe Creative Cloud subscription to use this feature.
Understanding the PSD File Structure
Once you open the PSD file in Photoshop, you'll find multiple slides and layouts organized within the Layers Panel. Each sermon series pack typically includes:
-
Title Slide
-
Note Slide
-
Social Media Story Slide
-
Portrait Slide
-
Square Social Post Slide
-
Facebook Cover Slide
-
Lower Third Slide (for livestreams)
Each of these slides is grouped in the Layers Panel, making it easy to edit specific sections.
Navigating Layers & Editing Content
-
Expanding Slide Groups – Click the drop-down arrow next to a slide group to see all layers within that slide.
-
Hiding/Showing Elements – Use the eye icon next to each layer to toggle visibility on or off.
-
Editing Text – Many templates allow direct text editing by selecting the Text Tool (T) and clicking on the text you want to modify.
-
Adjusting Layouts – You can move, resize, or reposition elements within each slide to better fit your needs.
Managing Fonts
When you open the PSD file, Photoshop will display a font list at the top, showing which fonts are used in the template. Fonts used in Pro Content graphics are linked on the download page, so you can easily download them if they are missing.
Note: While most fonts are free, some may require a separate purchase or an Adobe Fonts subscription.
Customization Limitations
The level of editability varies between different Pro Content files:
-
Some graphics allow full text, color, and layout customization.
-
Others may restrict edits to certain elements like positioning or visibility.
-
Editable elements will be visible in Photoshop’s Layers Panel, while flattened images (non-editable sections) cannot be modified.
Finalizing Your Edits
Once you’ve customized the design:
-
Save your changes as a PSD if you want to make further adjustments later.
-
Export the final version as a JPEG or PNG for use in ProPresenter, social media, or announcement screens.
By using the PSD files available through your Pro Content subscription, you can create professional, customized sermon series graphics, social media posts, and announcement slides that align with your church’s branding.
