If you use a similar flow of content week after week, ProPresenter makes it easy to streamline your setup with Playlist Templates. These templates let you pre-define the structure of your service—including headers, placeholders, and even presentations—so you can start every week with a consistent framework.

How to Create a Playlist Template

Create a New Playlist

• • Go to the File menu and select New Playlist,
    or

  • Click the + icon in the Library section (top left) and choose New Playlist.

Build Your Playlist Structure

• In the Playlist Pane (bottom left), use the + icon to add:

  • Headers – For section titles like “Worship,” “Message,” or “Announcements.”

  • Placeholders – For content you’ll add later.

  • Presentations – If there are recurring elements you use every week (like a welcome slide or scripture reading).

You can drag to rearrange, rename items, or delete anything to fit your specific weekly flow.

Save as a Template
Once your playlist is fully set up:

• • Right-click the playlist in the top left panel.

  • Choose Save as Playlist Template.

  • Give it a name that makes it easy to recognize later.

Using Your Playlist Template

When you’re ready to start a new week:

1. Click the + icon in the Library section.

2. Choose New Playlist from Template.

3. Select your saved template from the list.
