How to Connect the ProPresenter Remote App

If you’d like to control your presentation from a mobile device, the ProPresenter Remote app makes it easy—as long as it’s properly connected. Here’s how to set it up:

  1. Launch Both Apps
Make sure ProPresenter is running on your computer and that the ProPresenter Remote app is open on your mobile device.

  2. Enable Remote Access in ProPresenter

    • Go to Settings in ProPresenter.

    • Click the Network tab.

    • Scroll down to the Remote section.

    • Toggle Remote on and set a password of your choice.

    • Click Enter to confirm and lock in the password.

Troubleshooting Connection Issues

If you continue to have issues connecting ProPresenter Remote to ProPresenter, try the following

  • Ensure that ProPresenter is running version 20 or higher.

  • Ensure that the device running ProPresenter Remote and the one running ProPresenter are connected to the same network.

  • Restart both ProPresenter Remote and ProPresenter

  • Test on a different network to eliminate any potential issues with a specific network

  • Test at different times during the week to determine if the issue might be linked to a higher traffic time on your network.
