Due to the way YouTube's website works, playing a video within the ProPresenter Web browser does not work well. If you need to show a YouTube video we recommend against trying to stream it off of the website, and instead have a local copy of the video on your computer for playback.

Due to the complex nature of copyright laws related to showing YouTube videos, we do not provide specific steps or recommendations for downloading videos. If you need to show a YouTube video, you should try to contact the person who uploaded the video to see if you can get a copy of the video and permission to show it. And remember, simply because a video is on YouTube, that does not give you the rights to show it at your event. Similarly, just because someone uploaded the video to YouTube does not mean they own the content or have the legal rights to everything in the video.
