Slide Destination allows you to control where a slide’s content is displayed—either to both the Audience and Stage screens (default behavior) or only to Stage screens.
This is especially useful when you want information visible to presenters or musicians on stage—such as lyrics, notes, or prompts—without showing that same content to the audience. Common use cases can include kids environments, worship teams, or private presenter notes.
By default, slides in ProPresenter are sent to both Audience and Stage outputs. When Slide Destination is set to "Stage", the slide will instead display only on Stage screens.
Slide Destination can be enabled in several different ways, depending on your workflow.
- On the menu bar: Presentation>Show Slide on Stage Screens Only
Pressing Command+0 (Mac) or Control+0 (Windows)
Adding the Destination from the Action Menu (in various places, such as Macros, Playback Markers, etc)
To return to normal slide behavior (Audience + Stage):
Click the "Stage Only" red indicator under the Presentation Transport Controls
Use the same method you used to enable it (menu, shortcut, action, or macro)
