ProDisplay makes it easy to send content to any screen in your building—from a lobby sign to a classroom TV—all managed from one place. This article walks you through everything you need to get your first screen up and running: purchasing ProDisplay, logging in, creating a tag, pairing a device, adding your first presentation, and scheduling that presentation to play automatically.
NOTE: As of October 14, 2026 ProDisplay is only supported on Apple TVs 4th Gen (2015) or newer. Information on other supported devices coming soon.
Purchase ProDisplay
To get started with ProDisplay, you will first need to have access to at least one screen of ProDisplay. We are giving away one free screen in every Renewed Vision account. So head to accounts.renewedvision.com to activate that screen and purchase any additional screens you need.
Once you have a screen of ProDisplay, head to prodisplay.renewedvision.com and log in with your account credentials. When you log in for the very first time, you will be taken to the ProDisplay homepage.
Overview: What You'll Need
In order to get content showing on a screen, you will need three things working together: a tag, a paired device, and a presentation. The steps below walk through creating each one. Scheduling content to play automatically on a calendar is optional and is covered in Step 6.
Step 1: Pair a Device
Head to the Devices tab in ProDisplay, where you will see a list of your paired devices. If you do not have an existing device paired, follow the steps below to pair one.
- On your Apple TV, open the App Store and download ProDisplay.
- Open the ProDisplay app on your Apple TV and choose the option to pair your device to your ProDisplay account. The app will display a four-digit code.
- Back on the ProDisplay website, click Pair Device, then click Pair Existing Device.
- Type in the four-digit code shown on your Apple TV.
Once your device is paired successfully, it will appear in the Devices window. Here you will see the device's Name, Status, Subscribed Calendar, Tags, and Location.
Step 2: Create a Tag
Tags are how ProDisplay knows which content should appear on which screen. You will assign the same tag to both a device and a presentation, and ProDisplay takes care of the rest.
- Open the Settings window by clicking the settings gear in the bottom left-hand corner of the ProDisplay page.
- Go to Tag Management.
- Click Add a Tag, then type in the name of the tag you wish to add.
- Optionally, assign a color and give the tag a description.
- Click Save. The new tag will appear in the Tag Management window.
Step 3: Add a Tag to Your Device
Now that you have a tag and a device paired, let's get that tag added to the device.
- Click on the device in the Devices window.
- On the right-hand side, go to Tags.
- Click the plus (+) button next to the tag you created to add it to the device.
Now you have a device paired and a tag assigned to it. All that's left is to add some content.
Step 4: Upload Media
Now all the basics are setup, let's start adding media!
- Go to the Media tab in ProDisplay.
- Click Add New, then choose Upload Media.
- Select the media you want from your computer to add it to ProDisplay.
Wait for the upload to finish before moving on to the next step.
Step 5: Build and Tag a Presentation
A presentation is what actually plays on your screen. Here's how to create one and add your media to it.
- Go to the Presentations tab.
- Click the plus (+) button on the left-hand side and choose New Presentation.
- Type in a name for your presentation. It will then appear in the presentations list.
- Click your new presentation, then click Add Media in the top right and choose the media you just uploaded to the media bin.
- Drag the media onto your presentation.
- Go to the Tags section of the presentation
- Click the plus (+) button and choose the tag you created earlier.
Step 6: Schedule Your Presentation on a Calendar
If you wish to have content play automatically, you can schedule that within a calendar. Each device follows one calendar, so you schedule content onto the calendar and every device assigned to it picks it up.
- Go to the Calendar tab. A default calendar is already there for you. To add more, such as a Kids Calendar, use the three dots next to a calendar name to rename it.
- Add a new event and give it a name.
- Set the time. You can make it a one-time event, set it to repeat, or mark it as all-day.
- In the event, choose the presentation you built in Step 5.
- Under Display Mode, choose how the content advances. Manual control keeps the presentation paused until someone advances it. Go to Next Presentation advances automatically and can loop back to the beginning.
