Exporting ProPresenter Presentation to ProDisplay

ProDisplay is where you schedule and run content on your screens, but you don't have to rebuild everything from scratch to get there. If you've already put together a presentation or playlist in ProPresenter, you can send it straight to ProDisplay in just a few clicks.

Before You Start

You'll need a presentation or playlist already built in ProPresenter, and you'll need to be signed in to the same Renewed Vision account that's connected to your ProDisplay organization. If you haven't set up ProDisplay yet, start with Getting Started with ProDisplay.

Step 1: Open the Export Menu

In your ProPresenter library, find the presentation or playlist you'd like to send over. Right-click (or Control-click) it, then choose Export to ProDisplay... from the menu.

Step 2: Name Your Export

The Export to ProDisplay window opens with the Name field already filled in using your presentation's name. Update it here if you'd like it to appear differently once it's in ProDisplay.

Step 3: Choose a Location

Under Location, you'll see your existing ProDisplay folder structure. Select the checkbox next to the folder where this presentation should be stored.

Note: You won't be able to export until you choose a destination. The window will prompt Choose a presentation destination to continue until a folder is selected, then switch to Ready to export.

Step 4: Add Tags (Optional)

Use the Tags panel to make the presentation easier to find later in ProDisplay. Select an existing tag to apply it, or select + to create a new one.

Tip: Tags and the destination folder aren't locked in once you export—you can change either one later from within ProDisplay.

Step 5: Export

Select Export. ProPresenter prepares your slides and media, then uploads them to ProDisplay, with a progress bar tracking the upload.

Important: Keep ProPresenter open until the upload finishes.

After the Export Finishes

Once the upload completes, select Open in ProDisplay to jump straight to your new presentation, or Done to stay in ProPresenter.

In ProDisplay, each slide from your presentation comes over as its own item, carrying its image or video along with the transition and duration you had set in ProPresenter. From here, it behaves like anything else built directly in ProDisplay—you can edit it, add it to a Calendar, or assign it to a device.

Note: Exporting creates a separate copy in ProDisplay. If you later change the original in ProPresenter, those changes won't carry over automatically—you'll need to export it again to update the ProDisplay version.

Next Steps

Now that your presentation is in ProDisplay, head over to Scheduling Content with Calendar to put it on the schedule, or assign it directly to a device from the Presentations tab.
