With ProPresenter Cloud, you can create Cloud workspaces that automatically sync across all devices signed into your organization.
Cloud workspaces make it easy for teams to collaborate, ensuring that presentations, media, playlists, and settings stay consistent across every connected system. You can start a brand-new Cloud workspace from scratch, or convert an existing local workspace to Cloud to share it with your organization.
Before You Begin
Before creating or converting a Cloud workspace, make sure:
- You are signed into your Renewed Vision account and part of an organization.
- You have an active ProPresenter subscription. (Users cannot create Cloud workspaces if their subscription has lapsed.)
- You have an active internet connection.
- You are running ProPresenter v22 or later.
Converting an Existing Workspace to Cloud
Already have a workspace stored locally you'd like to share with your team? You can convert it to Cloud in just a few clicks.
- Open Settings → General.
- Under the Active Workspace control, click Convert to Cloud.
- A confirmation message will appear showing the size of the workspace and asking you to confirm that you'd like to upload it to Cloud.
- Click Convert to Cloud again. Your workspace will begin uploading, and a progress indicator will show the status of the conversion.
For converted workspaces, content will continue uploading to Cloud in the background. How long this takes depends on the size of the workspace and your internet speed. The workspace can be downloaded on other machines right away, but it may take some time for all media to fully sync.
Creating a New Cloud Workspace
Wanting to start with a brand new workspace and have it syncing with Cloud? Here's how...
Open the Manage Workspaces window
- Select the Status icon at the top right of the ProPresenter window, then click on the active workspace → Manage Workspaces…
OR
- Open Settings → General, then select your active workspace and click Manage Workspaces…
- Select "+" to add a new workspace
- In the Manage Workspaces window, click the + button.
- Choose Create New Workspace from the dropdown menu.
This is also where you can import a legacy ProPresenter folder.
- Name your new workspace
- In the naming dialog, enter a name for your workspace.
- Check the box labeled Make Cloud Workspace to designate it as a Cloud workspace.
- Leave the box unchecked if you'd like to store your workspace locally instead.
- Confirm and create
- Click Create to finalize your new workspace.
- If the Cloud option was selected, the workspace will begin syncing immediately. You can tell it's a Cloud workspace by the Cloud icon next to its name.
What Happens After Creation or Conversion
- A Cloud icon will appear next to the workspace name in the workspace lists and anywhere else the workspace name is shown.
- The workspace becomes available to all devices signed into your organization.
- Any changes made by one user (media, presentations, playlists, macros, etc.) will sync automatically to all other devices using the same workspace.
- If your workspace is ever removed from Cloud (for example, deleted in the Account Portal), it will revert to a local workspace and you'll be notified with an alert.
Troubleshooting
- "Make Cloud Workspace" or "Convert to Cloud" is grayed out
→ Ensure you are signed into your Renewed Vision account and have an active internet connection. - Can't convert the workspace I want
→ Only the active workspace can be converted. Switch to that workspace in General Settings, then click Convert to Cloud. - Unable to Create — Not enough disk space
→ An alert will appear if there isn't enough local storage available to create or sync the workspace. Click Manage Storage in the alert to review your available space. - Workspace not appearing for other users or devices
→ Verify that those users are signed into the same organization account and that the workspace has finished syncing. Large converted workspaces may take longer to fully upload.
